Dressed in northern costumes the couple will participate in the traditional wedding ceremony followed by a lunch of Thai cuisine served in the beautiful gardens.
Our very special Lanna Weddings are set at Galae House Lanna Village, a collection of lovely historic Lanna buildings, surrounded by old trees with huge spreading branches. The wide terrace in between the house forms the main stage for exchanging wedding vows and is decorated with traditional style banners and lanterns.
In the afternoon the couple will enjoy a cruise along the Maeping River with a stop in a local village. And, later in the evening, a romantic candle lit dinner with fusion cuisine in the elegant teak wood setting of the hotel's speciality restaurant.
The next morning, after rising early to offer alms to the monks from the local temple, the couple will plant a tree in the resort's tropical gardens. In the years to come this will grow into a mature tree and symbolize the blossoming of the couples love for one another. The newly weds then enjoy a sparkling wine breakfast in the room.
